More snow....

I am ready for spring!!! I have never in my life been ready for spring. I am now! SIGH~

I love snow, always have. Oh well...... I can't wait to kick us all out the door and walk. The kids and I like to go to a field not far from the house near the Flathead River and walk. We find cool stuff and feel like explorers :) I can't wait.

We love our living room. One year I will post photos..... Dave set up the bookshelf and computer desk. It looks nice :)

I made tacos for dinner and sticky buns for snack. I think the sticky buns were more of a hit then dinner!!

It was nice to hear from all of you on my last post. It was great to "meet" you Rachael. I'm glad you "stopped by!" :)

My parents are in NEW YORK!!!! Yep that's right ! They got a trip to NYC for their 30th wedding anniversary . I am SO excited for them . They went to the Statue of Liberty today and got pizza from a place called Joe G's Pizza. Tomorrow they get to go on a carriage ride through Central Park!! So cool...... One day I will get there!!! I'll sing all the songs from "On the town" and think of you Becki!!! Hey, maybe you can come with? In a perfect world.......

Well, I guess that is all from this girl. I can't wait for Mandi to come home. I miss her.

Rich Mullins Moments

"You was a boy like I was once. Was you a boy like me? I grew-up around Indiana. You grew- up around Galilee." In talking about his family : "If they had married anyone else, if their lives had been one iota different, I wouldn't be here..... You are not alone in this world. You are part of an ensemble."

In talking about church attendance : " I hear people say, "Why do you want to go to church? They are all just hypocrites." I never understood why going to church made you a hypocrite because no one goes to church because they're perfect. If you've got it all together, you don't need to go. You can go jogging with all the other perfect people on Sunday morning. Every time you go to church, you're confessing again to yourself, to your family, to the people you pass on the way there, to the people who will greet you there, that you don't have it all together, and that you need their support. You need their direction. You need some accountability , you need some help."

Talking about a dream he had : " The other night I dreamt that I was stuck in an airport terminal- another canceled flight another long, anxious wait. The place was packed with stranded passengers and misplaced luggage, & I sank into a chair by the phone booths, waiting for the oxygen masks to drop out of the ceilings ( it was a dream remember). Suddenly, I noticed this distressed man, sobbing , pulling his hair out by the handfuls and so I leaned over to ask him what was the matter and if I could help. "What's wrong sir?" I asked. He grabbed yet another handful of his hair and sobbed , "I'm afraid I'm going bald!" ..... And so it goes. We are surrounded by a million possibilities , all of whose remind us that we are not the "captains of our own fates." As we face these possibilities, let's remember who our Captain is. Let us not be made captives of worry."

These are just a few of the quotes I have learned to love from Rich this last year.

I Peter 3:8-9 "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

If anyone is still reading this :)..... I hope that something was a blessing to you.
God is SO faithful. He has been supplying our needs ever since Dave's hours were cut. I was been shocked at how HE is working in our $. (Aka HIS $) God is so good to work His best when you give Him the liberty.

John 14:13-14 "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father maybe glorified in the son. If ye ask anything in my name. I will do it."

Job 41:22 "In his neck remaineth strengh , and sorrow is turrned to joy before him."
