We leave tomorrow to go to Havre. I'm happy to be with my sister for her birthday and for Dave to hunt of course :)
I enjoy being there. I'm not sure if I'll be able to stay to see my mom. I like to! Time will tell.........

Thanks to all who prayed for me! I do feel better and know that Jesus has taken care of everything. He is faithful. The kids and I had a good devotion this AM( not that the other AM don't count! :) )

It's nice and cold today and the sun is out now!! Praise the Lord. In science we learned all about how God made the sun and all the planets with the exact amount of gravety needed to keed us in place. Anyhow......

Well, we made it through another school week. That is always nice :)
Not much else to report. Looking forward to the fall! Fall in Montana is awesome :)

Boone got a end of summer bath. That is always a plus. Poor dog.

Surprise

Wow!! I can blog now :). We got home Tuesday from a 10 trip to Colorado! It was a surprise Birthday bash for my moms 50th brithday! We had not been to Colorado in 4 years. It was so nice to be there again. Mandie and Caleb were there too. That was great for all of us to he together. My mom was in total shock to see us on her door step Saturday the 12th. It was pouring rain out, I called her on the phone just to chat. All the sudden the door bell rang....... Mom says ' Oh Mel someone is @ the door......I'm not going to answer it...... I was like okay. She went looking for my Dad.... To make him answer the door! Well, he was hiding to make her do it:) To make a long story short she finaly did answer the dumb door! She was in shock!!! I loved it :) I was so glad we pulled it off. If I can I'll post photos from the surprise party we had a few days latter!!!!!

We will re start school Monday. Oh Joy :) :) anyhow...... Thanks to everyone who helped us make that week special!!

Oh boy..... 5 days a week is back. Sigh.... Oh well. We shall live :) It is so amazing to see how big these kid-o 's are getting. I looked photos from 3 years ago today . Beth was so little ! She is still a twig but she is so tall now! She had a cute dress and pig tales. I miss that:)

That is the question! We had a good birthday family date on Monday:) I enjoyed our time together. After reading Grace's blog I was reminded once again that married people do date! And! That I've been saying for a month now that Dave and I are due for a date. January was a while ago! Someday......... =)

I do need to get lesson plans for school done today. Next week we start schooling 5 days a week. Lots of fun :) This year summer went by quick. I am normaly on the edge of my seat waiting for fall and winter. Not this year...... What's wrong with me!?

The breeze today is awesome. It feels so good to be outside. The twins and Beth are riding bikes and Andy is playing barefoot in the grass.

Well, I better get moving on my lesson plans!

Nothing too much going on.... We are back to school 2 days a week. So far so good. Dan did take forever and a day to read his health book on tuesday.~Sigh~ he makes me laugh and cry all at the sametime.

Our nephew Stephan is loaning the twins a couple of skate boards. So they are in heaven!! It's cute to watch them mess with them.
He told them he'd buy them their own boards if they could learn a move. It might be a while:) but theybare getting better!

Wow. I feel loved:) I still have 3 friends and a great sister!! Today was so pretty. The twins and I finished mowing the yard. I got laundry on the line. And a little nap too!! Life is good today.
Not much else I guss. Dave gets to stay with 9 children for a while tonight:) IT's my shopping night and Josh and Debbie need a sitter for a few hours! He is pretty easy going. He would much rather stay home with 9 kids then go shopping. Hope the kids keep the house clean :) it looks pretty good @ the moment. Well that is it for me! Have a great Thursday my 4 fans =)

WOW! Here I am posting. I'm at Rebekah's house so...... I get to post :) I love my i pod touch, but I can't get to post with it, only comment :( Anyhow............... We had a good camp. Jesus is SO strong in every thing. I don't deserve Him.

I was super glad that my mom, sister and brother in law were with us there. That was great. Caleb and I did not fight much :) The kids had a blast as always.......

We told the kids at dinner tonight that the Doran family is moving in less then 2 months. Andy did not really care to think about more then his salad. Dan and Beth cried and Tim just kept quiet. I know that the closer it gets the more tears will come. (Andy and Moriah are great friends.)

I was driving home from the train station this AM and was singing and praying about lost souls and people who are close to me. I started to wonder "Oh , Lord I'm scared for them" He spoke to me and told me that " You will see more souls saved, just watch" Well, Dave sent me a text this AM and told me a younger girl and his work, that I talk to often, told him she got saved last night!! I was SO blessed by that. God is faithful. I hope that I can encourage Jennifer in her new walk with the Lord.

Well, my folks got back this week. They had a GREAT time :) Dad loved it.

They went everywhere cool! FAOS . She said that Tom Hanks was not there :(
Mom went into BloomingDales too. Dad sat on a bench outside :)
She said that the Statue of Liberty was awesome!!

Anyway..... You know you have no life when you blog about your parents vacation!

I am ready for spring!!! I have never in my life been ready for spring. I am now! SIGH~

I love snow, always have. Oh well...... I can't wait to kick us all out the door and walk. The kids and I like to go to a field not far from the house near the Flathead River and walk. We find cool stuff and feel like explorers :) I can't wait.

We love our living room. One year I will post photos..... Dave set up the bookshelf and computer desk. It looks nice :)

I made tacos for dinner and sticky buns for snack. I think the sticky buns were more of a hit then dinner!!

It was nice to hear from all of you on my last post. It was great to "meet" you Rachael. I'm glad you "stopped by!" :)

My parents are in NEW YORK!!!! Yep that's right ! They got a trip to NYC for their 30th wedding anniversary . I am SO excited for them . They went to the Statue of Liberty today and got pizza from a place called Joe G's Pizza. Tomorrow they get to go on a carriage ride through Central Park!! So cool...... One day I will get there!!! I'll sing all the songs from "On the town" and think of you Becki!!! Hey, maybe you can come with? In a perfect world.......

Well, I guess that is all from this girl. I can't wait for Mandi to come home. I miss her.

God is SO faithful. He has been supplying our needs ever since Dave's hours were cut. I was been shocked at how HE is working in our $. (Aka HIS $) God is so good to work His best when you give Him the liberty.

Dave and I painted our living room, kitchen and hallway this weekend :) YEAH!!! I LOVE it. It's all most done. I will post before and after pictures as soon as the Doran family is ready for company :) I can't wait to get it all put back together!!

Happy New Year~! Hope you all had a blessed new years eve. We spent the evening and the early hours of the morning at the Dorans. It was nice :) Played games and prayed in the new year.

We are still in Columbia Falls for a while. Dave is getting his hours cut this month. I am trusting Jesus :) I know that HE will provide for us. I am thankful that he still has a job!

I was glad to see so many comments :) A whole 5 people love me !! Cool Beans.

I got spoiled this Christmas. Lots of new exercise stuff that I wanted. And 3 new movies :) Fiddler on the Roof being one of them! I have not seen it in a long time. We had a great day. Dave and I even got a nap :) I LOVE that our kids are old enough to tell them " Hey, we are taking a nap. Don't bug us unless someone is at the door." It's grand !

Well, I guess this is the lamest post ever. Huh.... I have not watched that lame movie in a while. I might have to do that!

We have a lot of snow here in good ole Montana! About 3 feet with 5-8 more inches to come tomorrow! YEAH!!! I love it here. We have beautiful seasons :)

Ahhh....... It was so nice to be with my family this Thanksgiving :)
I trust that all of you had a wonderful day what ever you did.

I got up @ 4 am and went shopping :) I found good deals!! I'm thankful for Montana! No one gets killed on Black Friday!!! Mandie and I had a good time shopping that day.

Dave did not get his deer this year, but he said that he had a good time hunting . So that is important :) I told him since gas was so cheep it's okay :)

We are going to take the children to the Night of Lights Parade tomorrow. It's a local Christmas parade. Our town only has around 5,000 people so it's pretty small, but the kids LOVE going! Then Dave and I have a date to watch a movie and hang out together.

I have not played that game yet Amy! But I will let ya know how it goes :) Thanks for all your help! It should be fun.

Well, I never have much to say! I did get my re order photos today. So I will try to beg Rebekah to help me post them sometime later this month :)

HI Again! Beth and I are at the Library :) We are heading to Ladies ABM tonight. We needed new viedos for the trip to Havre this weekend! I know, I know we spolied our children. We bought a DVD player for the Burb. Crazy. But we have 2 kids who like to get car sick. I hope it will help and keep their mind off it. I also use motion sickness pills. So..... We will see :)

Hello Bloggers! Here I sit at the Columbia Falls Library. It's chilly out today and I could not be happier that it's Fall :)

I made it through Picture Pick Up with little pain and only one crazy person..... I won't go there. I just make Dereck deal with him. I sayed on the phone with Dave so that the crazy guy would not dragg me into the mix....sigh.... I can't wait to post my photos!! I need to wait so I can mail them to my parents. I want them to see the real things before I post them.

I was glad to hear from you Amy!!! Hope that you are happy "subing" . Wait is that a real word? Anyhow..... I'm sure you as the English teacher will set me stright.

We had a nice week-end. Beth is still sick but she is on the mend. We had a get together with our church. But all of you who read Rebekah's blog will get the story and photos. So, I will leave that at that! :)

I believe that I will see my Dad's Dad soon and his wife. That is what I hear anyway :) I also can't wait to see my sister and her fam!!!!!!! ( Yes, you too Nancy!) I feel like I'm missing out on Thomas :( I really want to see that kid! And I want Emilie to know me more then just a voice on the phone!!! Anyway..........

Wow! Here I am twice in one week :) Amazing. Thanks for all the encouragement . God is so GOOD!!!
I am looking forward to the weekend :) Our weekend starts on Saturday nights, since Dave works Tuesday-Saturday. I plan to make chicken nuggets and french fries tonight. What at well balanced meal . Oh well, I through in some green beans and call it good!

I hope to be able to feed Derek (the photo guy) tomorrow night. He is in Havre this weekend for their photo shoot. They are doing real well!!!!! I'm so glad. It will be a big help to their local fund I'm sure.

I am SO excited to be able to go to Havre for Thanksgiving. That will be awesome. It is still hard to not be able to move yet. But I would never want to step out of God's plan for us no matter how much I miss my sis. Anyway..... Back to Thanksgiving! I have only had one "Major" holiday with my family in 6 years. So, I'm ready to see my niece and nephew!!! And if Caleb and Mandi happen to be there, great :) It will be so nice to see Paul and Grace as well :) We get to stay for 9 days so Dave and hunt too.

Josh and Debbie are in OR for a week or so. So it will be a bit quiet. The kids love to play with their cousins. Today we are at the Dorans. Cousins all over the neighbourhood. *smile*

Hello Blogging world! All is well here. I am still alive after our photo fund raiser. I will still have picture pick up to do, but that is 3 million times eaiser ! Not to mention you get to see all the beautiful photos that Derek and Tessa took.

We took our home off the market this week. That was a ruff choice. Dave felt that in the ecomomy that a job change was not the best idea. God is SO faithful. I want to trust His time. It's my friend. ( Unlike Becki! Who never visits my blog! HA!)

School is going okay, up and down days but we still make it! The photos gave the kids a 3 day break. I bet they liked that one :)

My visit with my parents went pretty well. I'm glad they took the time to come and see us.

We had a good week this week. PTL! It was nice to hear from all of you. I am hear at the Dorans while children sleep. Jacob got tickets to something so he took Rebekah and Tabitha. I came and put people to bed so Grandma Jeanne went home. I sure hope mine are in bed when I get home........

I decided to school Dan and Tim in the AM and Beth after lunch. So far so good!!! Dave told me to try it. I hope I don't sound like a broken record...?? I never remember what I say.....sigh.....

Oh, the joy of getting OLD :( Yes, I said it! I'm old. Now what was I saying?

I baked 2 loaves of bread Tuesday afternoon and they were gone by this morning. So I baked 2 more this afternoon ( gave 1 to Debbie) and I will have to do it again tomorrow! What fun :) I do enjoy baking. I need to bake cinnamon rolls soon. I was doing it for Dave's work twice a month. But I quit until the photo fund raiser is over. I have to call like 80 people this weekend~sigh~ But I know that with prayer and hard work Jesus will bless it :)

I can't wait for more fall weather :) It was WARM this week like 80. But soon it will cool off. I think the children enjoyed playing outside. That was nice for them. Debbie and I stood outside today while the children rode bikes. We watched Josh paint their house. It looks nice. Dave and I painted (with porch/floor paint) our porch this week. It looks nice. I wish I would have used a darker color. Oh well..... Now the children can help sweep the outside too :)

Well, we had a good week. Not too much trouble :) The twins are starting to get a little frustrated at math class. Well, it's mostly Dan. Tim seems to understand faster but Dan works faster!? I don't get it. Twins are strange people!!

Beth is doing well. She will start reading very soon. She is her mothers child. I have to laugh when I think that I might have acted just as girly as she does!! What a nut. She is a joy. She can hold her own maybe better then I ever did. But I did not have 3 brothers either!!

Andy is 3 and he knows ALL his letters and sounds! No real thanks to me! Leap frog is a cool thing :) No, Dave and I both help him a lot. He is a fun kid to have around.

Tonight was a good church service. Brother Josh took the children outside and sang songs for like 40 min. Brother Jacob "taught" lesson on "The Center of Your Universe". That was a blessing to me right now :) God knows just what we need. I love Him. I want to give Him more of me and my time. As all of us Mothers know it is not always easy. I just have to remember that what time it is makes little difference. If it's 7 am or 1 in the afternoon! God loves it when I give Him that time. Sometimes I have found that I can really get blessed when I take a few min. several times a day to pray or read in the word. Sometimes I don't have a full 30 min but I DO if I space it out. Sometimes there is a kid~o on my lap when I do find time with the Lord and I think that's okay too :) Anyhow..........

We did have a showing this week. So, that's cool. God knows and time will tell. Sometimes time feels like it's against ya but you find out later that it was your friend.

My parents are coming to see us the first week of October!!!! YEA!!!! They got a free trip to Yellowstone and so they thought ..... Hey, why stay a week there when we can stay 2 days there and 2 days at each of our girls houses!!! So... here they come!!!!!!!!! I wish SO bad that we could be with them and my sister and her family. But we just don't have the extra $ to get there. And that week-end the Havre church is having the picture fund raiser. Then the following week the Columbia Falls church will do the same. (I'm in charge of that one! Hey.... anybody want a 10X13 photo of your family for $10!!!!! The photographer is GREAT) So, once again I don't think I will get to be with my folks and my sister and her fam.....~Sigh~......... I don't like living 4 hours from Mandi @ times like these. But I am greatful that they are comming!!!! It will be really nice to see them :) :)

We started school today. I was very sick this am so we started in the afternoon. Yesterday I ate pork 2 times and I was VERY sick in the night. (I can't handle pork well) I was not thinking yesterday when I ate it. It has been a LONG time since I ate it and now I remember why!!

Dave and the boys had a nice time camping this weekend. They went with Bro.Jacob and Elijah. It was a bit cold but no rain!! That was a plus. Tim did not do too well with the outhouse :( But other then that Dave said they had a lot of fun!! :)

Hello Blogging World!!!!!!! Yes, I'm still alive. I have not been bloging since I don't have internet in my home. And I don't feel like bugging people to let me use their PC. SO....... I happened to be here with Rebekah and thought I would post.

There has been some changes since I last blogged. Dave and I put our home up for sale this summer. We are looking to move to Havre, MT. We are hoping for a change. The flathead is nice. But it is getting so BIG. God knows what is best. We are trusting Him . So, if any of you in blogg world want a 3 bed 2 bath home with 800 sq foot garage & and 1/2 acre fenced yard. Give me a jingle!

AAAAHHH...... I just lost what I wrote!!!!!!!!! Sigh~ Well, ok. You get the short version. We start 5day a week school tomorrow. After only doing 1 - 2 day weeks in the summer. Tim & Dan are 7. Beth is 5. Andy is 3. (The twins will be 8 in December.) And in Feb we start our new school year.

We had a nice summer. I have to admit I never mind saying goodbye to summer. We have real seasons in Montana. Fall and winer in Montana are just beautiful!!! In Colorado you just never knew what you'd get. I will tell ya we did have snow in June this year!!! That was GREAT! I had to call Becki and rub it in :) Though I understand that she and New Mexico are getting along well!

I am still teaching Sunday school, childrens church and loving it! I also am the local WMB leader. I was the Regional WMB for I THINK 2 years. Since we are planning to move out of this region I thought I better ask to not be put in again. I did enjoying working in that area. God is doing WONDERFUL things in the world around us. Sometimes it's hard to remember that their are people EVERY where that need Jesus. Somehow those countries out side of the US and Canada seem to blow us away with newly saved and new church members. I guess when you have nothing in the life besides Jesus you seem to be more willing to do anything for Him. Anyhow......

My Grandpa George and Grandma Emilie came for a visit back in April. That was wonderful!! We got to take them to Havre and see Mandi and Caleb. That was great to be together!! My parents came in May. We were not all able to be together that trip. But it was still great to see my parents. I am glad to have a good relationship with both of them now.

Well, here it is the 25th of January. WOW!!!! Anyhow....... We had a great weekend with my parents. They came Thursday evening and left Monday after breakfast. The kids had a blast :)
Dave and I had our 7th wedding anniversary on Monday. God has blessed us with 7 years together. As all of you married ones know , it's not always easy, but with God's help and grace it has been worth it. We went out Friday night while my folks were here. It was great!!!! We really had a nice time.
Please say a prayer for a small boy here in our local area. He is missing and for that to happen in such a small valley , it's odd and scary. He's 3. There is a Amber Alert for him now. His Dad picked him up from a friends house buckled him in his car seat, went in to get the other children came out and his son was gone. God knows. I guess I thought if it was MY Child I would want the whole world to pray.
I am happy I'm going to start to knit my first blanket!!!!! YEA!!!! That is the most exciting news of today. God Bless!!!

Thanks for all the great comments. Today I have 4 of our nieces and nephews over to play :) We aallways have fun when they come over. We have 9 nieces and nephews total, I think it would be a hoot to have them ALL :) God did answer prayers for us :) Dave is better. Sister Bishop and Sister Smith are going to try to come to retreat :) Thanks for the prayers. We should all rememeber to pray for Brother Randy in AZ this week!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone! It was great to hear from all of you. I could really get into this blog thing. *smile* My kids are so funny. It was really fun to get these photos taken. I was RUNNING around like a chicken with my head cut off , since I was the director of that whole deal. Yet all in all it was fun*smile*
Today our son Dan, was doing his math at the table, when I went to lay Andy down for his nap. I came back to the table to see Dan with his head down on the open book and his eyes closed. So, I asked him "Hey , Dan did you do your math?" He replied in a Marlon Brando tone: " Leave a message and I'll call ya back." I just DIED inside. But I did not show that to him. Needless to say he just looked at me and did his Math.
There is not too much else to report around here. If you think of it you could pray for Dave. His back is not feeling well :( That is no fun for him. AND please pray for this regions Ladies Retreat. We need to find one more teacher and I HOPE a guest speaker, but we have NO $$ now, since all that happened. Anyway, God knows and I am in contact with some real pretty retreat centers where we could come out ahead!

Hello to the blogger world! I can’t believe that it has taken me SO long to post. Sorry. But the Dorans were sick and we went to Havre to see Amanda , Caleb and MY niece Emilie!!! What a DOLL! Any way…… I will try to get Rebekah’s help to post pictures SOON.

We had a nice Christmas at home. We were hoping that my parents could make it but with the HUGE storm in Denver that did not happen L Can you believe it Denver, CO gets a huge storm and us in Montana, nothing “ N-u-t-h, well you know nothin’ “ I guess we could get 3 to 6 inches tomorrow night (01/05/06) !?? Who knows ? This morning they said we would get nothin’ now 3 to 6 inches!?

Well, here I am out of the stone age. I don't know if I really like this or not!? Jacob and Rebekah were so kind to let me make a Blog for Dave and I.
So, I will be posting pictures and all that SOON!!!
The boys (twins) had a Birthday yesterday. They are 6 now!
Beth is 3. She is a mess :) We love our little Princess.
Andy is 20 months. He is a good boy and LOVES to play with "guys" aka : Rescue Heros.
