The day got tunred upside down!

Okay.... Dave's job called him to be on duty 4 hours sooner then we expected this morning :-/ SO... I got up to help him get his meals for the train and a quick hot breakfast. Well, there was no real going back to sleep after that! So, I started my day sooner then I expected. :)

I was able to workout and shower in enough time to get Dan and Beth to an appointment. Well, while we were out and about the electricity went out in ALL of Havre. Yes, all 10,000 of us. Nothing. SO.... What were we to do?? Hang out at Aunt Mandie's untill the power came back on about 4 hours later. That was fun. I enjoy days like that ;)

Oh, and Rylee ( for those of you who know her) came on over too! That was fun. She's a sweetheart. It was nice to spend sometime with her too.

I had a chiropractor apointment in the "dark." Well, the room had one window. That helped a lot! ;) And to have someone who knows what they're doing, just rub on my lower back for  10 min was a good thing today!

God has blessed again, with Dave's job. We are hoping that he will get to keep the "schedule" he has for a while. It should give him more time at home. When you drive a freight train around, you don't have a normal schedule. ;) But this should be better. ;) I LOVE that we school at home. The kids get to see him SO much more. And Dave's been a big help this last year with school.
I really hope that at least the kids and I can make it to The Great Plains Region Family Camp!! Since being in the North West for 10+ years, We've missed so much :( We did get to go to Family Camp twice in our old region. And one or two conventions. But they are SO far away... Like 12+ hours ;) Well, one was only 6- 8 hr....Anyhow... The closest church to us here in Havre is our "old" church in the Flathead only 4 hours away! But we are not in the same region :( I know I know, I told my mom last night, it's because the overseer whould have to travel more or our convetions would be "far away".... I understand, yet it feels like everything is already 12+ hours away :D It would be cool to have convention only 4 hours away! Well, all in all I'm glad God did not put me in charge of all that!! He knows what's best. Not me :)
Tonight is Friday! SO, the kids and I will eat some frozen pizza and try to agree on a movie to watch... My boys are not real into the movies Beth and I like.... Halmark, Love comes Softly, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers ect.... So, we have to try to meet in the middle and that can be ruff :/ But we have fun! I do have old Muppet movies on dvd we have not watched in a long time... ! That could work ;) Happy weekend to all of you in BlogLand!

So, did you find a movie that would please everyone? :-)
I wish everyone didn't have to drive so far to be in Conventions and Camps. I, too, hope you guys can go to Camp this year. Camp memories are the BEST! But you have to go before you can make any memories. You don't want your kids to miss any deposits in their Memory Bank!

What a great day you had!! Power outages can give you a needed 'break' sometimes~ LOL
The only down side to that day, from my opinion, is that you couldn't make grilled cheese and tomato soup! :)ILU
