Feeling blest

Sounds lame to say that since I know as children of God we are always blessed ;) I just feel it more today.
I know that the Lord is very patient with us. Sometimes I just feel like I test Him more than the average guy. Anyhow... I do know that I am learning more and more these days. I am grateful. He is SO faithful. I want to be like Him when I grow up. I know that when we are faithful to Him that He blesses that in return. I can see that. I even prayed about how to spend grocery $ this weekend :D Crazy huh!? Well, He BLESSED again! He is reminding me that not just the 10% and the offerings that  are His. It's ALL His and He he will show us how to use it. Dave and I both were taught to tithe as very small children and to give on top of that. So, that's NEVER been a problem here. But sometimes it's the "left overs" that seem to "make themselves wings and fly as an eagle toward heaven!" Here again! God is faithful to show me that He cares about that too, and wants to help us use that $ wisely. Also that saving $ is very important. So, sometimes we have to say NO to this or that... So, we can learn to look at the bigger picture. Blah, blah, blah..... Sorry ;)

Well, we had some snow today. And we may have some more tomorrow. I don't think winter is done yet ;) Which means that we may not get our twins back until Tuesday. We shall see...... I am starting to miss them!!

Also, my Dad decided to plan a trip up here! We are looking forward to that. He's coming this way before he heads to Ohio to see his mom. I believe he will get here Thursday.

That's it from the Hendricks crew! :)

You're right. We are SO BLESSED!!! Our pastor preached this evening on, "Are you TOTALLY His?" I want to be totally, completely, unreservedly surrendered to God.
It's difficult to think about there being snow. We didn't get ANY again this year--at least nothing that stuck to the ground. Today it was 70+ degrees. Daffodils have been bloomed out for a couple of weeks already. Trees are in bloom. Alergy sufferers are really suffering. Spring is okay, but I dread what follows behind. *sigh*
How great that your dad is going to get to visit! But your poor mom. :-(

I agree.... Poor mom! Dad will be gone from home for 3 weeks. She can't be gone that long right now.So, we will wait till summer. I believe she will be here in June or July. This time of year it's pretty cold in Montana. Mom likes it warm. Her favoirte saying when she is here is... "David! It's SO cold in Montana!" He laughs to himself everytime ;)

Hi Melissa~ What a great blog post! (don't say bla, bla...!) I enjoy reading what you're thinking~~ and of course, His blessings are always worth going on about; Testimony! He's in the 'little things' too, as you well know:)
Enjoy your Dad! I will sooo miss him & be praying for him - I am a little afraid he's taking on too much; but he should be allowed to try! Who knows, it may turn out to be theraputic for him- - I'll be tearing up closets and cupboards to keep myself busy~ GBU! Mui

We too are learning all about totally trusting in the Lord and seeing how he is blessing. Even the "little" things need prayer from groceries to hair cuts etc. God is so good.....just today we saw him answer a need before we asked. He is awesome.
