Mother's Day Weekend!

Well, first off, I am spoiled rotten, second.....! I ate too much ;) All in all it was a great weekend. I feel very blessed. On Friday night Dave and I had a date night at home. That was nice. The kids went to Aunt Mandie's for a few hours and I made dinner for the two of us. We found some Christian comedy and that was a lot of fun. :)

Today, I woke up to a CLEAN house. When I went to bed, it was not that bad... But when I woke up and saw how hard my kids worked I was SHOCKED. And this year breakfast in bed was good :) These kids are such a blessing to me.

Church was good. I taught the teens one last time this week, while Grace is gone. Then when they get home I will go back to teaching the babies!! :) Bro. Kirby preached a nice Mother's Day message. He spoke about Mary. What a woman.... After service everyone came here for a small BBQ. Bro. Kirby make chicken and we had strawberries and yummy potato chips ;) That's where I ate too much :-/

My husband took the kids shopping on Wednesday morning. He was out the door with kids before 9am! I was blown away. So, today I opened my very cool Ironman ( NOT the super hero) headphones. I guess they make them for people who do the Ironman triathlon. Since I walk/jog days a week, I've really wanted them :-)
I feel so very blessed. Have I said that before...? ;)

We get our nephew Joe this week. Dave and Dan have eye appointments Wednesday afternoon. And we will pick him up then. I'm not crazy about the eye doctors here in Havre. Well, I think there are three in the office and I've seen one. He was not a real nice guy. So, we take Dan to the eye doctor that he's seen since he was two. It gives us a good reason to see Dave's family too :)
OH! Speaking of Dave's eye appointment. He could use prayer. He needs to be able to pass his eye test again this year. To keep his job. His eyes are not the greatest, but we prayed hard when he got the job, he was not sure if he could pass the test in the first place, but he did. So, we will trust the Lord for His best this year.

Pizza cards are moving along... We need about $250 more. God has blessed SO, SO much. I can't thank Him enough. I pray that God will make a way with time off for Dave to come. We shall see.

Well, I have a bit of laundry to finish. And I should go to bed. Lucy and I have to hit the pavement early tomorrow. I want to try out my new headphones too! *Side note* there is a young couple who attends church here often, Josh and Cassie. Well, there has been 2 deaths in Cassie's family this month. She just got home from a funeral 3 days ago, and now her mom's sister killed herself last night. Ugh. Anyhow... Please say a prayer for Cassie and her family. Thanks!

How tragic for Cassie and her family! I will pray for her now.
Congrats on your pizza card sales. God will doubly reward your efforts and bless you abundantly at Camp.

In answer to your question about why we stagger the lunch period at BTI--we've found that when we have more than 75 or 80 people it helps the line move smoother. People don't have to wait so long in the line to get their trays of food. We've only staggered the meal by about 15 minutes the past couple of years, but this year it will be about 30 minutes. It's the best I could do.

I will say a prayer for that family as well. I can't imagine...

I really liked picturing your headphones much better before you clarified that they weren't associated with the movie. HA!

Glad to hear you had such a great Mother's Day! :-)
